This collection of images documents the landscape and experiences in Williamsburg, Virginia. Throughout my time in Williamsburg as a learner, a child, a visitor, a research fellow, and a volunteer, I have gained new understanding to the historical experiences of people during Colonial America. Working alongside the farmer on his land has allowed me to experience the physical labor of farming practices and an appreciation for the land that I have not previously understood. This is a place that I have visited since childhood, and it holds great significance in my life. The beauty of the old which leads us to understand ourselves.
